This Sunday it’s the big one as Villa take on the Birmingham City in the Second City derby. To see what the view is from the Blues, I’ve enlisted the help of @MrMaxBradley.

Max has Birmingham City in his veins. The 26-year-old is a fourth generation Blue whose Great Granddad started off the obsession after he went to a game in the early 1900’s. He’s now currently coaching football in America with Chicago Fire, but has assured me that he will be getting up in the early hours of the morning to watch the derby on TV.

What were your expectations for Birmingham City going into the season?

I was actually very confident after our survival last season. Thought we would push on for play offs under Harry. Seems like another long season ahead now!

How would you rate your season so far out of 10 and why?

A solid 3/10. Really disappointing so far.

Which Birmingham City players should Villa be wary of?

The frightening pace of the front 2, Adams and Vassell. Jota also has a bag of talent!

If you were Steve Cotterill and had to sign one Aston Villa player for the Blues, who would it be?

Jonathan Kodjia.

Where do you see Villa finishing this season and why?

Top 6. Should have done so last season but I think they will this season. Spent millions so no excuse now.

Score prediction for Saturday?

2-1 to Birmingham City.
