This Saturday, Villa take on Millwall looking to beat them for the first time since 1990.
This week, Adam Keiller (@Adamkeiller), who is studying a degree in Sport Journalism at the University of Brighton, gives us the lowdown on the Lions.

What were your expectations for Millwall going into the season?

At the start of the season my primary hope was that we remain in the Championship and not go straight back down. I think the signings we made in the summer were very positive and sent out a positive message to the fans that we want to establish ourselves as a Championship level club. So, I think staying up is our primary objective for this season.

How would you rate your season so far out of 10 and why?

So far, I would rate our season a 7 out of 10. We are where I expected us to be at this stage of the campaign. We have picked up points where I didn’t expect us to. However, we have dropped points where I think we shouldn’t have. Our home form will be key to any success we have this season.

Which Millwall players should Villa be wary of?

We have a few players that Villa should look out for. Central midfielder George Saville has been a great addition to our squad. He is our top scorer this season, twice as many goals as anyone else in the team. He’s a danger from set piece, he showed that by scoring two free kicks against Sunderland last month. Right winger Jed Wallace is also a threat to Villa. He does everything that a winger should do, he runs at defenders delivers a decent cross. Finally, our deadly strike force of Steve Morison and Lee Gregory both have goals in them, last season proving that when playing together, they are at times impossible to deal with.

If you were Neil Harris and had to sign one Aston Villa player for the Lions, who would it be?

I’d have to say Albert Adomah. He has been banging in the goals for Villa and we could use his goals to stay in the division.

Where do you see Villa finishing this season and why?

I see Villa finishing within the top six by the end of the season. I think they strengthened very well in the summer, bringing in a blend of experience and talent to the squad. I would even go as far to say as they are a favourite to get promoted.

Score prediction for Saturday?

It will be a difficult game for the Lion’s but I’d be happy if we took a point away from Villa Park. My score prediction is 1-1.
