Kortney-Hause-Imminent-Aston-Villa
A deal for Kortney Hause looks imminent if the media are anything to go by, but the deal will be a loan rather than the aforementioned purchase.

Aston Villa are reportedly close to signing Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Kortney Hause on a half-season loan, according to Sky Sports.

We brought you the news early last week that the Villa were chasing Hause, a former England youth international (who will have connections with both Jack Grealish, and Tammy Abraham should he remain at the club), on a full deal.

However, rumours of Kortney Hause carrying a slight injury may have derailed any hope of a full deal, and the defender is likely to be joining on loan instead – potentially with a buy option for the summer.

Hause has played in the Carabao Cup twice this season, but has only managed one league game in two seasons under Nuno Espirito Santo’s tenure at the Molineux.

This could be a worry for Dean Smith, who could have concerns about Hause’s fitness levels, and could explain why the club have opted for a loan rather than a purchase.

According to a number of outlets, the deal is imminent after Aston Villa seem to have pipped West Bromwich Albion to Kortney Hause’s signature and could be announced as early as today.
