According to TalkSport, Sheffield United’s pursuit of Aston Villa striker Scott Hogan has concluded and the forward is set to be announced soon at Bramall Lane.
The Republic of Ireland international has not hit the heights he was expected to since arriving for a £12,000,00 fee two years ago to the day.
Hogan, who has scored 10 goals in over 60 appearances for Aston Villa has struggled for confidence at the club since being alienated by Steve Bruce and has only played 68 minutes of football this season.
The deal for Hogan hasn’t been explored too deeply, but it’s likely to be a loan with a fee, and potential for an option-to-buy as Sheffield United have been long-time admirers of the forward.
Look out for an official announcement from the club soon.
