Aston Villa Women have completed their fourth signing of the summer in the form of England U19 international Emily Syme from Yeovil Town Ladies.

Syme is set to partake in the upcoming UEFA European Women’s Under-19 Championship and will get to grips with team-mate Asmita Ale who also finds herself in the twenty strong squad.

The midfielder made fifteen appearances for Yeovil last season whilst also scoring their goal of the season, and played a number of important games for the side in the Women’s Super League.

The 18-year-old brings experience beyond her years to the club and you should expect her to make a number of appearances for Aston Villa Women next season.

The dynamic midfielder is highly thought of by boss Gemma Davies, who called her an ‘exciting young talent‘ who ‘fits the criteria perfectly‘.

With four signings already through the door, and more to potentially come, the promise of investment for the Aston Villa Women has certainly not been broken.
