After breezing past Crewe Alexandra in the Second Round of the Carabao Cup last night in an affair that saw Aston Villa score six goals with a team full of players on the fringe of the first team squad, they’ll come up against Brighton and Hove Albion in the Third Round.

The big guns will enter the competition in this stage, meaning any club involved in European Competitions are now running for the trophy. Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Arsenal were all available to be drawn against.
