Whilst we might be rivals on and off the pitch, we’re going to have opinions about the happenings at each respective club. We spoke to (@taga_bird33) to get an insight on his current Villa opinions this season.

If you could take three players out of the current Villa squad to play for West Bromwich Albion next season, who would they be?

Albert Adomah, because of the form he’s in and we’re in need of a pacy winger that can play with both feet, Keinan Davis because he seems to have the quality and the mindset – very much a Berahino kind of talent but with much less stress, and Sam Johnstone to eventually replace an ageing Ben Foster when he’s got more experience under his belt.

Villa currently sit 5th in the Championship, where do you think they’ll finish by the end of the season?

I think you’ll just miss out on the top two and finish in the play-offs. I can see you making the final, but I’m not sure you’ll come up. I’d like to see you in the Premier League again though – you can’t beat a Midlands derby. Wolves and Villa getting promoted in the same season would be great, and a return to the good old days because Stoke and Leicester don’t really count as derbies.

Say Villa and the Baggies were to meet in the F.A Cup, what’s the score?

3 – 1 Baggies, based on the fact that I don’t think Villa have a Premier League side at the moment. Too many ageing players and not enough quality.

Favourite Villa v Baggies memory?

When we beat you 2-1 at Villa park and Jonas Olsson and Paul Scharner scored.

Rate Villa’s season so far out of 10. Then rate West Brom’s.

I’d say you’re at a 7/10 – you can always play better. I’d rate our season 5/10, we started off well but dropped off. High hopes under this new era based on the Crystal Palace game though.

What were your expectations from Villa this season?

Based on the players you brought in, I thought you were going to miss the play-offs because of the introduction of Whelan and Terry. I wasn’t sure how they’d cut playing two times a week some weeks.
